My book arrived today along with my dad's new record player! I love the way the weather is today, grey but warm.. little humid but not too much, it makes everything smell nice.

Today I also decided to give Ghost in the Shell another try. The first time I watched it, it didn't make much sense to me, but then again, I thought Cowboy Bebop wasn't too interesting either at the first episode and now it's one of my favourite things out there. That and the soundtrack is by Yoko Kanno.. mhhmmmmm ^^

That's all. I'm getting pretty sick of my life. Everything. Of myself. It's all dull and every day I'm just sitting here wasting my life away while New York and the rest of the world is waiting for me. That along with feeling dumped is pretty lame. If I wouldn't have taken things to seriously I wouldn't have gotten hurt, now it's a pretty good pain in the ass. Ahbless.

So, today was my first day at work (home care). I was kind of excited about it and once the work was done I thought I had done a pretty good job and the woman who helped me seemed pleased too. Then I got home, changed, and then found a new voicemail message saying how they weren't too excited about how I had done everything and how they wanted to talk to me about whether this really was what I wanted.

SO I QUIT.

Best decision of the week. I hate people talking bad about me behind my back. Just tell me straight to my face you don't like the way I look and/or work, because yes, it's a fucking beauty contest around there. From the first moment they saw my pink hair and my piercing they already kind of decided they didn't want me there and it made me feel sick.
I was willing to work, to give 200%, but they don't want me there. So that's their problem. I'm just gonna go back to my old job ^^ It's such a relieve, the people there were so close minded it was giving me a serious headache.

To get over the whole issue, I cheered myself up with some goodies I scored yesterday! I initially went to the candy shop for the ringpop, because I used to love those when I was younger (oh the old days :)), but then I also got some snap crackles that I always went to get with my sister and some Hello Kitty junk to match all my other Hello Kitty stuff (and they're tasty).

Did I already show all you unknown people my awesome Toy Story box? It even has glitters, which makes it even more awesome. I'm planning to go see the movie either tomorrow or Saturday! Yay!

New fav tattoo artist

Recently I've been looking at tons of various tattoo designs so hopefully I might finally be able to design my own first tattoo. It's a real pain in the ass though, as there are SO MANY POSSIBILITIES! Design, colours, location. I won't rush anything (it took me over a year to overthink getting my monroe piercing done and still no regrets!), but still I just wish I'd see something and just be like 'oooooohh yesplz!'

Anyway, so I really really like the tattoo artist mentioned above. So much inspiration! So now I'm getting overexcited again and drawing like a mad person. Also, more and more people are saying how they think I should become a tattoo artist, randomly. I don't even have tattoos or show any designs I make to anyone and still people often randomly tell me they think it would suit me. It really makes me consider art school more, and maybe then I could get a apprenticeship at a tattooshop? Oh dreams.

Isn't it somewhat like.. discrimination? I wasn't even allowed to wear a hat to cover it all up. But what if I had to because of me religion, would that make a difference? It's just a little messed up in my opinion. As if someone with pink hair should be a bad person beforehand.

Today my mum and I got some really tacky junk for the garden, but unfortunately it has started raining again so we can't start decorating it yet. Also had some quite awesome finds yesterday at our local second hand shop, the vhs of Alice in Wonderland and an Edgar Allen Poe book!

Now I'm sick and will have some chicken soup All I want to do is sleep these days. Shame there are more sick people, it has screwed up my day. It always sucks when you get really excited about something and then it doesn't even happen. Shut me up now.

I have ANOTHER job interview today. The official one this time, together with a surprise guest which will probably be really awkward. What will they ask me? I mean like come on, if they're gonna ask me why I want this job I'm totally gonna have to lie because I'm only doing it because of the money, not because I love to take care of old people so much. New York is expensive you know! Do old people like pink hair? Because I really don't want to dye it brown or something as I'm just starting to love my hair very very much. Blah.

CAN'T WAIT FOR MY TRIP TO NYC! I talked to a bunch of people who were really excited about me going there and said how it's a great city to go to alone, so now I'm not too scared about that fact anymore and I'm trying to set up a list with things I want to do there.

Today I realised I forgot to take a picture of the painting I made for my brother and his now wife. FAIL. Now I'm going to work on a painting of my dad, as he requested. All these requests really keep me going and I really want to change my room right now so I'll have room to store all my art supplies and other junk so I won't have to clean everything up all the freaking time but just leave it be.

Just went grocery shopping for a mad amount of cereal and yoghurt. I'm slowly growing obsessed with yoghurt/milk and cereal and I freaked out when I found out this morning that we didn't have anything like that at home anymore. How could you deny tasty goodness like this?

I downloaded a bunch of random unknown songs that I haven't listened to yet and I'm going to check out right now. Includes bands such as: Obijou, Frightened Rabbit and Band of Horses.

Yesterday night I made this tattoo design

Basically it's a maneki neko in Hello Kitty shape which is meant to bring luck. It's also supposed to say 'independence' in Japanese/Kanji but I don't know if I got that right, and she's wearing the crown thingy of the statue of liberty, it represents New York as I'm trying to find freedom and independence by going there. If I wasn't convinced I'll probably regret it later on I'd so get this tattooed.

This has to be the longest TYPED update ever, but I really feel like I should make this blog more personal, instead of constantly updating it with random pictures. If I enjoy doing that it would be better if I would just get myself a Tumblr straight away.
