I had such a strange but wonderful dream last night. I was going to a new school, and I got there with an unknown friend and we entered this space, which I find very hard to describe. It was like a platform, with next to it a big bowl shaped space of which the ceiling was adorned by tiles but you couldn't see the bottom of it, there simply was no bottom. I went to sit on one of the benches lined up there on the platform and on the bench in front of me was the Bebop crew sitting, but they were discussing secret stuff and they suspected others listening so they decided to go and sit more to the right. I remember feeling really disappointed.

Anyway, suddenly everyone was wearing a silver and blue space suits and helmets and we had to go stand on the edge of the platform, on the edge to the big nothingness. You got blown into the bowl shaped space by these pretty big fans and then you could just float around. When everyone was floating, a bowl looking like planet Earth showed up floating in the middle to make it feel like you were floating in outer space and you could go wherever you wanted to. The Bebop crew joined in too, though I don't think Jet was there.

Eventually, some people left the globe and went to sit on one of the benches again, and some people (including me) started to make figures with each other just like skydiving groups do sometimes. I wasn't really good at it though and kept hanging somewhere outside of the figure all the time. Before we had to get out of the globe again, we got told we were aloud to try and touch the ceiling, but I don't think anyone succeeded.
Then everyone got out and went to sit on the benches with everyone else again and that was the moment I woke up because I really didn't want to do something as scary as that again.

Let me tell you, it's well scary floating around in a big space of nothingness.

***I got some Celestial green tea today, purely for the package. I went for the one shown above, but they didn't have it! (this is Honey Chamomile Green Tea, all my favs in one!). Instead, I got one with a unicorn like horse on it (Honey Lemon Green Tea). It wasn't that great, but at least the package goes nicely with the rest of my collection of teas.

Got to love Celestial tea packages

I have just accepted the fact that I'll probably end up as an independent cat lady who crafts and reads and drinks cups of tea all day in a cute little house, preferably something like this:And she will be happy.

Now I'm going to make some soup. For two persons, even though I'll eat by myself again.

I have returned from a pretty sweet long weekend. I got to cruise around town in my brother's rubber boat, went to this festival and I scored some goodies!
A cute dress/jumpsuit with little black bows

Some neat earrings!

And I got a Hello Kitty coin bank but I haven't got a picture of it yet as it's at my mum's, but I'm 99% sure it looks like this.

And once I got home I found this in the mail! I love it so much already.

I also saw a poster in town for this coconut flavoured drink. So today I got to the grocery store to see if they had it and they did! It's too good to be true mmmmmmm.

Now I've got to get down to some serious business and plan my trip to New York. Insurance shit. Bleh. Been procrastinating it ever since I booked my ticket. That and accomodation. I've been thinking of going couchsurfing but it'll probably be too much of a hassle anyway. So it's hostel time. Fucking expensive time. I wish I didn't have to spend money on having a place to sleep.

Can you believe that guy has a kid and is getting married with a 43 year old woman?
I'm not one who cares too much about big age differences, but after seeing him in Kick Ass and above movie it just.. freaked me out a little. And so I had to share.

A song + clip to brighten your day (keeps the doctor away).

Today sucks SO MUCH. I had so many fun plans for today, well actually for the entire weekend. But yesterday everyone suddenly had to cancel plans because of.. stuff. Including broken down cars, lack of accomodation, being busy or general boredome. It sucks even more if then the next day, all those people seem to be doing fun stuff and you're not invited. HELLO!? I'm never going to get excited about anything ever again. Good thing I'm not excited about New York. *Cough* Goddamn I should stop sitting here doing nothing.
Ever since my dad left and I got to watch the house alone, it's like I've been put in prison. A prison where no visitors are aloud.

On a lighter note, this precious kitty:

'According to Greek mythology, humans were originally created with four legs, four arms and a head with two faces.

Fearing their power, Zeus split them apart, condemning them to spend their lives in search of their other half.'

Hmmm I just might start believing this. & YES, new design. Last one was way too messy. Home sweet home style-o.

***I'm sorry for all the Japan related spam, makes me seem like some Japan obsessed anime freak fangirl. The main reason why I keep posting stuff from it is because on the creative/art front I'm going through a bit of a crazy colourful phase with a dark edge to it and anything related to Japan seems to go very well with that. So much inspiration! Don't judge me.
Keep that creativity flowing mmhmmm.

I love rainsbows randomly showing up in my room!
And it matches wonderfully with my pillow c:
Yesterday was origami day for me. Started off with dinosaurs but they didn't turn out too great, so I soon started making cranes, owls and butterflies. Today I'll be putting some up in my room YAY.
My current obsession. At first I only bought them because they looked so adorable, but now turns out they're delicious too! My favourite is 'sour cherry'. They also come with two tattoos, double awesomeness.
...and I decorated the cover of my new sketch book! Got inspired but that picture of Vivienne Westwood, then decided to also put in the picture of Spike I made earlier. Spike's jacket is filled with pretty glitter, but it doesn't really show on the picture...

I'm going to the fair today! Been a while. I hope they'll have some neat rides.

Watching Notting Hill (guilty pleasure!) made me remember what an amazing place Notting Hill is. Still convinced I will go and live in London some day. Unless New York City turns out to be even more amazing. Which I will find out in 35 days. It being almost a month away is terrifying scaring the hell out of me.

And the house is MINE until I leave. I'm all alone, having to do the laundry, dishes, feed cats, operate a vacuum cleaner and go grocery shopping + cook food. Going to be a good practise for later on :) Imagine me looking somewhat like Hugh Grant in this picture, in female form of course. Mmhmmm. YES. bye.

Matthew Caws was the only one who made the Nada Surf gig fun. He asked us what we had for breakfast (he had 'meat and cheese' that morning), how his first girlfriend was Dutch and that he then started looking everywhere for stroopwafels in New York and he gave a random person 65 euros so everyone could get a drink. Oh and he imitated a cowboy.
Such a sweetheart.

"When I wrote Garden State, I was completely depressed, waiting tables and lonesome as I've ever been in my life. The script was a way for me to articulate what I was feeling; alone, isolated, 'a dime a dozen' and homesick for a place that didn't even exist."
