This. It's been following me all day and now it even pops up on my screen.

Why do guys always talk to me about their girl troubles? I mean I'm glad I can be of help, but is it ever going to be different? Am I ever going to be the wonderful girl they're afraid to talk to?

I'm not even asking for the sun to come out. Just for a quiet day with no wind. And a bit warmer would be nice too. The past few days I've really been looking forward to Easter. Even if it's just for the pastel colors, looking for/decorating easter eggs and having a festive little breakfast. I think as a kid I had the most fun when crafting stuff that was Easter themed. c:

I'm trying to get rid of my really bad mood and I just found out that looking up Easter themed pictures is helping A LOT. So let me share some with you to maybe brighten up your day too!

Eek! So precious ^.^
I think this is one of the most perfect (Easter) cake I've ever seen.

Almost nothing more fun than going to a bakery during Easter <3

Can I be there now plz?

Those colors!!
Amazing Easter tree..

Feeling better? I am! Now I should get myself a nice bouquet with daffodils, tulips and hyacinths and dig up our Easter decorations. Just to get in the mood.

I've been working on my 'selfportrait' for my school application for a couple of days now. It's so stressful! I thought it wasn't going to be too hard, but a thing this important just never seems to be good enough. And then to think I also have to do two illustrations for an article and flyer of my choice. Ugh. I've kind of gotten out of the whole school routine/deadline flow.
In other news: I love my new baby pink hair! Some parts are slightly darker or lighter but it doesn't annoy me so I can't be bothered to fix it. I'm also having fun trying to find out which of my clothes match well with it.
Some wise words from my cup of tea to you.

So glad somebody recorded this! True magic <3

The Bright Eyes concert last night was magical. I had been waiting to see them live for such a long time, so seeing Conor Oberst standing right in front of me was pretty unreal. When I got to the venue the line outside was fairly short, but shortly after it lasted 'till around the corner! It was my first time at this venue, too, and it's so beautiful! It's an old church and the windows and acoustics are beautiful.
I wasn't really impressed by the supporting act, but maybe that was because I was only waiting impatiently for Bright Eyes to come on. Then finally they were there. I think Conor got more and more drunk/tipsy as the show progressed but it didn't really bother me. I don't think I've ever seen a show more real and pure. The most magical moment for me was when he started playing Poison Oak. Everyone was quiet. I had never experienced this before. So beautiful that half way through I had to wipe away a tiny tear :')

They're coming here again in July so I really hope I'll be able to go then too. Don't really know what else to say. I'm still amazed. I think I'm going to frame my ticket tomorrow.

Sunday Sweetness

***
Dying my hair baby pink, drawing self portraits for art school interview and this song on repeat (in every possible version).

Just catched up on The Office! How will I even be able to only mention one awesome thing from these episodes? I won't! Seriously. Drunk Jim,
Michael and Holly together, Michael and puppies, Creed and his Loch Ness monster with a penis. Not to even mention Threat Level Midnight. GOLDEN FACE.

There's a whole lotta people out there who need to learn how to do the Scarn.'

K I'll shut up now.

Treasure Hunting pt. 2

***
I'm having so much fun going through all my old stuff these days!
Found my old cat ears and tail from when I was a white cat in a school play! Hello, Kitty c: Purrrr
This pc game with which I used to be obsessed, along with an other Barbie game and some Barbie activity/coloring books. This makes me and my two nieces three very happy girls..

My Bambi and Dalmatians figurines! Dawww I remember playing with these all the time. I think I had two of those Bambi's though... and more Dalmatians.

LOTS of Powerpuff Girls stuff. I kind of forgot how obsessed I used to be with it. Now the theme song is stuck in my head. I'm gonna have to watch that vhs again tonight.

'Fighting crime, trying to save the world, yeah they come just in tiiime, the Powerpuff Girls!'

Other things were: funny old pictures of my all natural looking self, cute glittery cut-out pictures, magazines/books I used to make, crafts and other junk/treasures. But hey, it left me satisfied and smiling.
That's what she said.

Back to eating my Hello Kitty marshmallows.

I love My Life As Liz. I don't care about people saying it's all fake and scripted. Of course it is, but that doesn't mean that most things in the show can't be based on real life experiences. She's just in the exact same point of her life as I am right now. Leaving your home, starting somewhere new with great expectations only to find out it doesn't work out the same way for everyone. Long distance relationships. I dunno, it's just nice to know you're not alone sometimes.

And it helps that one of my favorite quotes comes from this show:
'Glitter is the herpes of arts and crafts'

365 project

***
Anyone noticed that neat-o new button at the right yet?

Check it out! Unlike most people, I randomly started this project on my birthday (January 24) and now I'll be taking a picture every day until my 20th bday. Or that's the idea anyway. It's going good so far. I don't think I'll be posting much of it on here unless it has something to do with whatever I write c:
Now off watching the final two episodes of Cowboy Bebop, again. Re-watching that show forever.

Happy Valentine's Day!

I'm not going to moan about it being a holiday invented by greeting card companies. If you don't want to buy anything Valentine related, then don't. Just don't deny you secretly hope to get a card, present or whatever too today. c: I got one card from Biscuit and that's it. But I'm ok with that. I guess. The only time I had a Valentine was when I was about 8 years old and I got this card from a boy who wrote 'Sarah is sweet' all over it. Dawwwwwww. I hope everyone has received my card by now too btw!

For the occasion I baked some Whole Wheat Chocolate Brown Sugar Sugar Cookies. They're so jummy, tiny and crispy and I love their brown color together with my pink sugar! I also gave a couple of them to my mom, sister and brother, just to spread the looooove. Yay for our new mini oven <3

Has anyone ever had Japanese Seaweed Salad?

Freaking delicious
I bought it thinking it would be bitter and gross, yet I still wanted to try it. I'm glad I did. It might just have made it on my list of favorite things to eat.
Oh wait. Yes. Yes it just did.

Current favorite drink: either coconut tea or rose green tea.

I'm a proud health junkie.

Sableye
Best Pokemon ever. They're purple, their eyes are gemstones and they eat rocks.

'There are old stories that say a Sableye will steal your soul if you look into its eyes. However, evidence suggests that these Pokémon are actually friendly, only playing their infamous tricks on travelers in order to get attention because they become lonely living in dark holes all by themselves.'
