Arg I haven't been this bored in ages. I just really don't know what to do with myself these days. The daze I was in when I came back from my travels has almost disappeared entirely by now. I could paint, I could sew something, I could costumize some clothes or bake or whatever but I don't feel like doing anything anymore. Everything is fine, just fine. I've got nothing to complain about and am basically in an ideal situation right now. But I'm not where I want to be and it still bugs me I felt like I had finally found what I was looking for but had to leave it all behind again.

I'm so bored with life. Something exciting should happen (though then I'd probably find a way to complain about it again..)

I better get some new Bailey's now. And maybe something else fun to drink. I never ever ever drink and it makes me sick most of the time but hey at least now you see how bored I must be. That combined with a Cowboy Bebop marathon should get me through the day.

Now that I'm accepted to art school, I'm gradually getting excited about finding my own place to live. I'm so sick of constantly moving my stuff around between my mom's and my dad's place. Soon I'll have my own place where everything can live together peacefully and stay there. Anyway. I was browsing on Think Geek and here's some dream stuff I think would look amazing in this yet unknown place I'm going to call my home.
An 8-bit flower bouquet! Eek! It's just too perfect.

Some mugs I need in my life... (I preferably drink everything from a mug)

Heat Changing Arcade Mugs

I'm in love with this Electronic Butterfly in a Jar! So pretty. Can I have the pink one please?

I doubt I'll have my own complete bathroom at my first place, but if I do.. well, yesplz. Along with some of this

And this would go great with my bathroom.
Though it would be in the kitchen. Obviously. Or next to my bed.
This Beating Heart Stress Relief Pillow is a must for a then stressed out and still forever alone me...

...huddled on my bed with only this precious lamp on (I want it so bad)

For those of you who don't know: I live on an island with more sheep than people. So. It's not spring to me until I see cute little lambs jumping around everywhere! I went to watch them past Saturday and came across this poor little thing. At first I thought he was dead and just left there, but then it woke up but it obviously didn't know where it's mommy was. Luckily the sheep farmers drove by only a couple of minutes later. Yup these are the exciting adventures I have out here.

And lookie! I got some actual decent looking lavender streaks in my hair. It looked horrible at first but after adding a bit of magenta it was alright. I officially won't use Manic Panic dye ever again, it's simply not working for me at all.

I got five compliments on it today though. That's more than I've gotten in the past few months so I must've done something right!

I've finished reading Dark Places btw. Holy hell I couldn't put it down the last few chapters. I loved it so much...

Today is this...

...and a whole lot of this.
I love my life.

My head hurts really bad though, like I've been hitting it with a rock in my sleep. There's this giant sore spot on the back of it. I'm starting to scare myself again.

Okay. After looking at tons of pictures of both lavender and pink haired girls I've decided to go lavender again tomorrow. Gwen Stefani convinced me
She looks so gorgeous... I stumbled across this picture via this tumblr ♡ I still have some unused Manic Panic Mystic Heather lying around I think. I've already had pink so many times. Yay I'm excited!

Watching Coraline always makes me happy. And it makes me want to dye my hair blue, I haven't had blue hair yet! (well turquoise, but not actual blue) I absolutely love this drawing... It's something different than all those fanart pictures of them kissing, those just don't seem right to me.

I think my entire family thinks I still think 'boys are yucky'. Though I think my mum secretly hopes I turn out to be gay after all. Nobody really cares. Maybe I do think most boys are yucky, but not all of them. Most people are yucky to me.

Oh and I got accepted to the art school I had that interview for about a week ago. Don't know how to feel about it. Sick but relieved? I guess I'll just sign up and see how it goes... Mhmm.

Apparently the customs always got to pick me out for a double check, even when it comes to stuff I order on the internet. After 2 and a half months I finally received my book of 666 photography. Can you believe that? It must've seen the whole world by now, if books could see. Oh and please don't even bother to handle my stuff with care, just make some awesome rips in the cover and make it look like it's a 100 years old. PLEASE. I ordered two Hi Fructose books from another seller and they actually got them send back completely ruined and torn apart while they hadn't even left the country yet. 'Oh hai book! I'ma give you to the dog and throw you in the paper shredder because that's what we do around here.'

The book is awesome though. Such beautiful ladies and gorgeous props, accesories and what not. Now I've officially received all my birthday presents!

I'm feeling like Faye Valentine today. Why do I know so little people who even ever heard of Cowboy Bebop? I know you're out there! Goal in life forever: become a space cowgirl. Maybe I should cosplay her sometime. I should.

Excuse me for my absence. The thing is that recently I discovered a magic thing called gold acrylic paint and I've been painting with it like crazy over the past few days. Right now I'm working on a series inspired by pink eyed golden (baby) bunnies, strawberries dipped in white and pink chocolate, space, kisses and everything that goes well with all that. Here's a little sneak peek...
(Don't mind the chair. I had to improvise as my easel wasn't there that day..)

I'm really excited about the one I'm currently working on! But I'll show everything when it's done, whenever that may be. Or just some pictures of my progress.

Some inspiration for the paintings...

And finally: look at my pretty nails! n.n

Oh My God. The Burn Notice Season 4 finale is one of the best episodes I've ever seen. Ever. SAM AXE SAVES THE DAY. Now I have an even better reason for wanting it to be summer. SEASON 5. Hell yes

All of a sudden I have this huge list of artists in my head that I'm dying to share with you. This one of them:
Aaron Piland and Ayumi Kajikawa Piland are the fantastical magical duo known as APAK. They are a childlike husband and wife collaborative art team who live among the fury conifer giants in a little cottage on the outskirts of Portland, Oregon. They create artwork together as a way exploring the beauty, mystery, and magic of life as well as expressing their love for life and each other.
They are known in particular for creating rich and colorful gouache/acrylic paintings on wood featuring the utopian lives and adventures of curious little beings living in lush fantastic environments surrounded by friendly little animals, the landscapes are familiar yet surreal, hinting at a fantastic narrative while suggesting truths about the real world at the same time.

It's impossible to pick a favorite, I love all their work! Visit their website and check out all those magical creations yourself.

I just came across Dina Golstein's Fallen Princesses series. It's so wonderful! The one below is my favorite. I mean... Pocahontas, as a cat lady! I wouldn't be surprised if this is a picture of my future.

Who finally got their new book today?
This guy!

I started reading it straight away and I'm hooked already. Let me quote the intro rhyme for you:
The Days were a clan that mighta lived long
But Ben Day's head got screwed on wrong
That boy craved dark Satan's power
So he killed his family in one nasty hour

Little Michelle he strangled in the night
Then chopped up Debby: a bloody sight
Mother Patty he saved for last
Blew off her head with a shotgun blast

Baby Libby somehow survived
But to live through that ain't much a life
I absolutely loved Gillian Flynn's first book, Sharp Objects, so I simply had to read this too. Ok back to reading now.

While I was working on my Pompom Purin plushie I was browsing around the internet for some Sanrio plushies and dolls and stumbled upon these precious ones! This medical toy series is a collaboration among Dr. Romanelli (click for the website, it's really neat!), Sanrio and Medicom Toy.

Still love the one designed by Tara Mcpherson too though. So many precious vinyl toys, so little money. Grmbl.

So I had my interview for art school yesterday. My nervousness level was at a 100+. When I was sitting there, waiting, I seriously felt like throwing up. It didn't really help that there had been some delay and I had to wait for another 20 minutes. I felt a bit too enthusiastic too. Here I was with my huge shopping bag filled with sketchbooks and such while everyone there was sitting with just one folder or a tiny laptop. How do they even do that? I personally don't think it's any fun browsing through a tidy black folder with sleek prints or staring at my art on a computer screen. Bring on the classic sketchbook mess that you can't even close properly anymore!

But on the bright side: it went great! Apart from one woman not liking my stuff with cupcakes in it because she thought they were stupid and overrrated (I totally agree on the overrrated part but do not call my cupcakes stupid!) it was all smiles and 'oohs!' and other forms of appreciation involved. I don't know whether I'm accepted or not for another three weeks, but them advising me to do fine arts instead of illustration but still having time to think about that in my first year there and other various things they said makes me 90% sure I got in!

10 hours of travelling for a 15 minute conversation, DAMN.

7 facts about me:
- I have 7 different kind of teas right now and that's an insanely small amount for me
- My favorite Sanrio character at the moment is Pompom Purin
- Ever since I was a little kid, one of my dreams has always been (and still is) to live in a cute little house in the woods some day.
- I've been wanting to buy a game console for some time now, but I don't because I'm afraid it's only going to make me spend more money so I'm confined to PC games now with HKO being my current obsession.
- I collect awesome looking candy wrappers or other packaging/tags. (I'm not the only one!)
- I get terrified when I have to make a phonecall or when somebody is calling me. If I can't see who is calling or when I think it's of no importance I don't pick up.
- I can't wait until it's officially spring and I can go camping again! (preferably some place like this..)

And now I'm just going to link to a couple of blogs I think are worth mentioning. Because I'm lazy.

There should be so much more on that list but my mind is just... not working right now. It's this mind hand coördination thing. It's being sucky.

Today I've officially finished my portfolio! I only have to give it a nice cover, but everything is printed out and labelled. I'm so proud! I've also finished the assignments for my art school application. I can't believe my interview is already this Monday... I'm more confident than ever about my work, but it's still kind of scary. Yesterday I wrote and illustrated a short story that I'll be taking with me for the interview too...
If you want, you can check it out here n.n

Aaaaand I got these little cuties today <333 Hello Kitty dressed up as Pippo, Chococat and Purin. I love them so much!
I'm pretty shocked by what is going on in Japan right now by the way... They're in my thoughts and I hope my little country will be able to help the best they can too ♡
That's it for now. Really got to put together the last bits and pieces now so I won't have to stress out on Sunday. X

Oh and a big thank you to Pixie for this award!
It's always nice to know people actually enjoy reading this... sorry excuse for a blog hehe. I promise I will either tomorrow or Sunday will post 7 facts about myself and have a look at which other bloggers I want to give this award to.

Conor Oberst makes me want this book. It's the one read in the song A Darkness, A Fever And A Necklace. I love that song so much.

I can finally braid my hair again! It's getting so long! I should actually get it cut a bit.. It looks all dry and damaged and blehhh. I couldn't care less though, as long as it's pink. And grows.
It's a much more intense pink now than on these pictures also. So happy with it c: Those pastel/diluted colors just don't last long enough for me. It's now the exact same shade as Princess Bubblegum's
I wish it would've been as easy as that..
