***Holidays are almost here.. time to slow down for a little bit. School has been crazy. Mostly fun crazy, but not always. I'm glad I was able to finish most projects before the holidays, though I still feel like I have a mad lot of stuff to do.
Anyway, I did my first etches! I can't say I'm all that impressed with the end result in comparison with all the preperations that had to be done beforehand, but it was still pretty fun to work on.

And I'm starting to tackle Illustrator! I'm actually starting to enjoy working with it. This is my very first yet to be finished package design. I must sound like such a noob when I say I've been working on this alone for over 7 hours.. -_-

Oh and I got the cutest Little Twin Stars necklace and bracelet today <3 yay for the H&M kids section!

I'm so excited for the Doctor Who christmas special!! 

Now when is that goddamn first snow coming?

Sugar Coma Bunny

***I present you my newest pride and joy: Sugar Coma Bunny!

We had to make something based on the clippings we had been collecting over the past few months. Mine included lots of animals, food, colors and cuteness (surprise!) and I was more than psyched about working on this! It's all completely handmade with air drying clay, acrylic paint and a high gloss finish. Some details:

Candies! One of them is covered with real sugar.

Bunny detail on the golden spoon.

Bunny tootsies! Are they made of chocolate? Who knows.

My teacher thought it looked pretty cool too, so that's a relieve. Right now I'm working very hard on a little book that's bunny themed too. Can't wait 'til the holidays, I'm exhausted.

My two dream pets, in one picture!? I want both of those babies!! All I want for Christmas is a sweet new kitten and/or puppy.

As an early Christmas present for myself I got myself the lilac chandelier I've been eyeing for ages. I'm so excited! Even though my arms went numb for a day after I had carried the gigantic box all the way back home (no I'm serious, I couldn't even pick up a pencil anymore D:). It won't be put up for at least another two weeks, but peeking into the box every once in a while is good enough for now too <3

 And did someone say hot cocoa on a stick? Mmmmhmmm delicious.

My days consisted of writing an insanely big essay and eating too much mango, all while having this song on repeat

Why didn't I know Dan Andriano had this side project thing going on? I honestly can't get enough of the songs. Anyway, big essay is done, I'm almost out of mangos, and tomorrow I'll be painting a bunny ice cream sculpture that shall be served up on a plate with a spoon made out of clay.

Crazy days.

It must've been about three years ago that I was in London for Christmas and we went to see The Nutcracker (and a real sugar plum fairy!). Damn.

Cozy Christmas Fire. NOT.

The first of December means: first advent calendar chocolate! What a great way to start off your day.

I'm still more or less recovering from a tiny heart attack. Here I was, doing my thing on Friday night. Randomly drawing while watching Doctor Who, when I decided it was time for tea, turned around, got in complete shock for a few seconds when I realised: FIRE!

I did hear some unfamilair noises, and I was suddenly coughing an awful lot, but obviously don't put aside whatever I'm doing to find out what it is. I had put a tealight on a dresser in front of a picture frame with a picture of my mom, dad and me as a baby in it. Apparently the tealight decided it didn't wax and could use my dresser and picture to burn just as well.

I managed to save it, more or less, I'm just gonna have to cut off the bottom part. Hooray for life saving towels. One of my biggest fears has always been fires. I'd lie in my bed as a little girl and constantly think of how I'd escape the house when there would be a fire (which was usually just running far, far away). I don't even want to think of what would've happened if I hadn't been home..

ANYWAY, Let's quickly forget about this (which is hard now that it smells like I just had a great bonfire in my room, which I actually had, kinda, if you think about it). Today I decided to raid the school's library magazine collection, and I took some shots of inspiring things...

They are all from a magazine called Bloom. It's a gorgeous magazine hugely inspired by flowers, nature and the like. Now that we're on the subject of school, look at this little thing I worked on! My first aquatint etch. I wonder what it'll look like once it's pressed..

Finally I just wanted to say one more thing. Even though I don't have that many followers, I just want to let my few readers know that I truly appreciate you taking your time to check out my blog c: I honestly can't thank you enough! You guys (or mainly girls, actually!) are too lovely!
