LOL I'm just kitten!

I'm supposed to still be working my butt off right now for school, producing drawings and crafts and paintings like it's NO BIG DEAL. Like I can do MAGIC. But then I realized I missed blogging and I had ideas floating around in my head for posts all week, but I just couldn't justify spending time on the internetz for myself. I have to work work work and everything else is just.. nonexistent. Obviously. Is this life? Is life supposed to be filled with work all the time. Does that make you an acceptable adult. Because if that is the case I want to grow up even less. Blegh.

But hey I'm still here! Still excited! As long as I have mini breaks I'll be fine. So what do I do during those mini breaks? Well, I'll tell you about that right now my darling readers...

find out Bubbles (Powerpuff Girls) is actually my cartoon self.
Bubbles has always been my favorite Powerpuff Girl, but now that I'm re-watching episodes I'm really starting to understand why that is! We're so much alike! I miss the good old days when I would watch that show every morning.
have long phone calls with my mom
It's basically impossible for me to go home these days, but phonecalls will cover that for now!
playing around with the Halloween features on PicMonkey
Ha I realize it's more Day of the Dead than Halloween, but it's my favorite of all themes!

♥ make wishlists on Etsy
1, 2, 3, 4, 5
I am drooling over that kitten shirt especially!
 read and write snail mail!
Nothing that cheers me up more than receiving a letter or a postcard!
cook a nice, yummy meal for myself and EAT IT ALL
watch beauty vloggers on youtube. Something about it really relaxes me. I especially like the videos of makeupkatie95, because she talks a lot and it's like having a friend over who talks to me about girly stuff while I'm working.
♥ ordering a ticket to see Conor Oberst in February!! Aaah!!

This post is pretty messy and all over the place, but whatever! Ok I better get back to work now I already start feeling bad about 'not doing anything'.

Omnomnom heaven.

Look at my bat garland! I love it so much ^^ I do think my chandelier needs some cobwebs now...

Yesterday my sister and nephew came over. Now that was a treat already because I love having guests over! But guess what!? This was an ever bigger treat because they brought me macarons! (I bet my new macaron necklace has magic macaron bringing powers..) Look at the gorgeous box they came in...
...and look how pretty and yummy they look c: (we already shared one by this time... mmmm chocolatey)
The first and last time I had macarons was at the start of summer this year. Those were tiny ones and by far not as delicious as these. These were the real deal. Seriously. They melt in your mouth and have this intense taste explosion that makes you tastebuds go *_______*
That day I also made some sushi for dinner! When I saw Cassey's recipe for quinoa sushi I knew I had to make it too as soon as possible. And it's delicious! Ok so I always suck at the rolling part, but luckily this doesn't change the taste whatsoever.
Sushi is happy to go into my mouth.
Hope you'll have a fabulous weekend. I just feel like sleeping for the next two days.. but I can't! I gotta teach myself to sleep paint. That would be amazing.

Super Cute Kawaii + Creepy Cute Haul!

Today was one of those days I just knew was going to be GOOD. And I'm very happy to see I was right! Omg! It was the perfect fall weather, classes went super well, everyone seemed to be nice and I got some super exciting mail + did a little creepy cute shopping spree during my break. Picture time!!

Ok, so last week I found out I had one Super Cute Kawaii's Asking for Trouble giveaway! Yay! I was very excited to say the least. Especially since it included BUNNIES!
Bunny tape n_n Seriously, just send me an envelope with bunny tape on it and I'm happy.
The CUTEST bunny notebook which will be perfect for my schoolnotes. Love those colors
More goodies! Monsieur le Bun is so fancy, and I can't wait to use the busy bee organiser!
Thank you so much Super Cute Kawaii for your kindness and brightening my day. And happy belated birthday c: I highly recommend checking out the Asking for Trouble shop for adorable goodies n.n

And as I said, I went on a little shopping spree because... Fall is here! I need nice sweaters and tights and hats and scarves and Halloweeny stuff! It has resulted in the perfect creepy cute haul.
Super soft sweater that matches my hair perfectly, stripey skirt and the cutest hat (from the girl's department ^^) from H&M
Sparkly macaron necklace and spider earrings from Claire's
And now... will you just look at these glasses!? Aren't they perfect? Who only uses these during halloween? These will be used daily from now on. Gotta be able to sip my water creepy style. And yes, black and purple BATS!
This post probably has way too many exclamation marks but I don't care. There's nothing wrong with excitement and happiness. As long as it's sincere. Are you already getting ready for fall/Halloween? I can't stop being thrilled it's finally here again. I missed those cups of chai tea and weather to be knitting/crocheting, reading books under a blanket and well... you know, the good stuff!

creatinating.

I'm procrastinating so badly :c Mostly in a creative way, but still. I know I said I was taking a small break, but usually when I say that it only leads to me blogging more and I just felt like sharing some pictures! (more procastinating..)
Washi tape and origami fun!
Mini haul at the Asian supermarket n.n
Old picture I found of my precious cat Snowy. I miss her.
More random creativeness..

Just a little note.

You guys! I know it's been a while. There's is just so much going on that my mind just doesn't have the space to store any awesome things to blog about. Good things are going on though. I'm just having a little break from the internet to focus on a couple of things.

And while you're waiting for me to come back, go do some awesome origami! I am completely obsessed with making these origami bows and dresses!

Creepy Cute Halloween!

Since the last few days I've suddenly got really excited about HalloweenMaybe that's a little silly, since we don't even really celebrate it around here (I know right!?) I do feel like we're picking up on it though since I spot more and more Halloween goodies and events every year.

I really miss the Halloween stores and the other related awesome amount of stuff I could find in America when I was there two years ago though.. but I miss America in general. ANYWAY, I put together a small collage of Halloween prettiness (with a lot of Hello Kitty mixed in! Because there's nothing better than Hello Kitty x Halloween stuff)

Currently on repeat ♥

I have something to confess: I've been listening to Taylor Swift non-stop for the past few days/weeks. Her songs are on repeat every morning now because they simply just put me in such a good mood! I love how all her songs tell a story. It's like going through a storybook or someone's personal diary. And she's also just really pretty, unique and adorable. I don't know what there's not to like.

And I love her latest video  Omg this is such an amazing work out or 'dancing around in your bedroom' song! I hope it'll put you guys in a good mood for the weekend too. I have tons of fun new school assignments to work on n.n

Nana inspired wishlist

Ever since I watched Nana I've been dreaming of punky lolita outfits with Vivienne Westwood accessories... Here are some of my dream items put together. It's like a mixture of Nana Komatsu and Nana Osaki

I am actually in love with those boots.. Better start looking for a job.

♥♥ Nana ♥♥

I finally brought myself to watch the Nana live action movie! I am happy to say that I'm not disappointed. On the contrary. I loved it :3 Obviously they left some parts of the storyline out. If they hadn't this movie probably would've taken way too long anyway. But I think they really did the anime and manga justice by paying close attention to detail and of course: the amazing cast!
I remember an old friend of mine loved this series way back when, but at the time I guess it just wasn't for me. I'm thrilled watching it now though, especially since the characters are the same age as I am and go through similar experiences, emotions and other fun and/or complicated in life. It's good having something to relate to. Even though the storyline is most likely entirely fiction, the emotions and events in this series are so real. You won't be able to watch this without crying and laughing hysterically and even taking a couple of minutes to think about it all before moving on.
I have yet to finish reading the manga (which I'm currently doing online, so that's why it's going slow) but at least I can highly recommend both the anime and live action movie. And oh what the heck, go read the manga too! Since books are always better than movies.
