Things that will always inspire me: tea, rainbow hair, food, pink and pin ups. Thank heavens for Pinterest where there's a huge never ending collection of eyecandy. I love browsing through my recent likes and pins for inspiration. And yes, most of them have something to do with the main inspirations I just mentioned! The other day I was thinking how cool it would be to be able to change up the frames of your glasses without having to get a new pair. Then I came across the picture above. How awesome are those interchangeable cateye frames?? And see that doilie in the tea cup? It's actually made of sugar. So cute! I also have some serious hair envy thanks to those ladies, and would die to have an amazing pink tea pot and couch like that.

How getting ice cream is the reason why I'm not here.

Forever in love with pink, pretty lips and nails, words of wisdom, cuddles, food themed accessories and art...

Ever since I started living in Canada with my boyfriend, I feel like I really started to live my life. My evenings and weekends aren't spend sulking around in my room anymore. These days we go out and meet up with friends, go to concerts, have a bbq, have spontaneous soccer games or go and get ice cream! It's an amazing change which also really helped me to challenge and (mostly) overcome my anxiety issues, but it's not as good for my blog! I guess right now I just put my energy in so many other things that there's hardly any left for the internets D: I guess it's a good thing that I'm not a huge online personality so I won't get hate mail about being absent lately. Hopefully I can get my camera fixed/get a new one veryvery soon, since taking pictures always inspired me for blogposts. My phone camera just doesn't do it for me for some reason.. Anyway, I'm sure I'll get back into the swing of things sometime soon!

I hope everyone is doing great and is excited that the sun is finally coming out more!! Or if you are in Australia, that it's cooling down a little bit? Now get out and enjoy life and keep looking at all the beautiful things surrounding you n.n

Baby, it's cold outside.

Just when I decided to get back into the habit of taking photo's on a daily basis, my camera decides to die on me. I've had it for 4 years now though so it's not much of a surprise.. it has survived many vacations and seen so many things. I've been lusting over the newer version in pink for a while now, so now that's another thing to add to my list of things to save up for :) luckily until then, I still have my phone to take pictures with!

This morning I woke up to find a box filled with these pretty donuts! Even though I don't necessarily enjoy eating donuts, just the look of them makes me happy! Especially ones with rainbow sprinkles n.n

A few days earlier I woke to find something else that made me smile! My dear friend Alexandra from Spain sent me this! My first fun mail in Canada!

Zhe boyfriend got me these pretty new earrings c: pink and sparkly.. what more could I ask for?

My new favorite place to get tea is this place called Teavana. We recently got an amazing one called Sakura Allure (even the name alone is amazing). It's flowery green tea and there are actual little flower buds in there. It's really sweet, almost candy like and smells amazing! The other one is plain loose green tea, which will always be my go to tea.

After 2+ weeks I figured it was about time to clean up my Valentine's Day bouquet. I never like getting rid of flowers because then it's so empty again :( still can't bring myself to throw away these pretty dried roses haha.

Today I did some cleaning, pilates and tea drinking and in a bit we're probably going to browse the bookstore and get some food! Sounds like a good start of the week to me. Hope your week is starting off good as well!

Inspiration: If I have you, I'll be okay.

One more presentation... this monday, and then vacation will finally be here! I've been dying of anxiety for days now, it's terrible. I just wish it was all over already. I've watched Say Anything two times already this week (it calms me down a little). Today I came across that amazing piece of art of mr. John Cusack and his boombox by Lucky Jackson. I need it in my life. I also love the floral, delicate art by Kari Herer!

Pinterest is also a welcome distraction from school. I love pinning on my Burlesque Babes board right now ♥ Finally, isnt that purple to pink ombre hair the prettiest? I want to try and recreate something similar (but probably the other way around) c:

Pinterest Summer and Style

Today I dug into a bit of my savings to go for a little shopping spree. Even though I know I should be saving money, I just really needed it to lift my spirits and have myself a little make-over! I was seriously getting so down by having hardly any clothing that fits the kind of person I want to be right now. I want to be bold, bright, fun and little bit more ladylike. Right now Im hugely inspired by Kate Spade and Gala Darling which results in clothing in black and hot pink, animal print and bold patterns! For lots of people Springtime is the time to reinvent yourself, do make-overs, spring cleaning! And I am also that kind of person.

I also went to smell some perfumes and I'm head over heals in love with Prada's Candy. Not only the scent, but also the packaging. I just can't stop sniffing my wrists right now! I haven't run out of my Katy Perry Purrrrfume yet though, so I couldn't justify buying it... And I also kinda want the Taylor Swift Wonderstruck. Oh decisions decisions..

Even though you can't buy happiness, this definitely had an enormous positive effect on my mood n.n I felt so intensely happy walking around the city I call home now, browsing the shops, looking at all the gorgeous items and fun prints and fresh fruit stalls, accompanied by the loveliest sunshine ever.

Maybe I'll take some pictures of all my stuff later, or you will just see it pop up in some of my pictures in the future ♡♡

Christmas cheer!

Only 10 more days until Christmas! I recently started a ridicilously pink xmas Pinterest board! I'm dreaming of a pink christmas... It's kitschy and obnoxious and I absolutely love it! Whenever I feel massively depressed by all the busy and stressful days going on right now, I just sit and look at this board for a bit and already feel so much better n.n

I don't have a christmas tree here in my room, let alone a pink one! I don't really see the point investing in one when I probably wont be here during the holidays. I'll just wait until I can enjoy the ones at my parent's homes.

Regardless, my mom still got me some ornaments! And they're the best ornaments ever! Cupcakes and ice cream! Aaaah! She knows me too well. My chandelier is now officially my christmas tree. I just want to hang these somewhere all year round... I bet they'll look amazing on my future pink tree... 

She also got me this super cute kigurumi set. I had been eyeing for ages and apparently my mom magically knew I have been. I can't wait to get started! I've been wanting to get into kigurumi for so long and this will definitely help me to get started n.n

This is what I woke up to the day I went to visit my mom! We havent had awesome snow like this since then. Fingers crossed we will for christmas.

Yes, giving presents is a little messed up over here since we also have our own little holiday called 'Sinterklaas'. Since we don't really celebrate both that and christmas in a very grand way December is just a month in which we give each other cards and presents whenever we feel like it! I finally have all my cards sent and my presents wrapped. Now school just has to be over and I'll be a happy (snow) bunny.

Last Friday we actually had a perfect fall day going on! Perfect timing since I had planned to visit my brother that day and go to the woods. It's nice to see my baby nephew more often now, even though he wasn't really feeling like going to the woods that day. ANYHOW: The trees were so magical!

I am on Pinterest!

Yes I am! It's my latest addiction. I had tried several times to get started, but never really understood why everyone was so excited about it. But now all of a sudden I do, and it's so much fun to just create boards with random themes and collect pictures for it. It'll also be ideal as inspiration boards for upcoming art concepts n.n

I'm especially excited about my 'Healthy Living' board now though. I'm more motivated than ever to eat entirely clean and exercise and looking at that board helps to keep that up. I've started doing pilates outside and I'm on the hunt for some perfect running shoes. I've never been running before, except for school, but now that the weather is nice running around to my favorite music sounds very appealing indeed.
