Sunday Sweetheart: Ryan Gosling

Sunday Sweetheart: Ryan Gosling
I wouldn't mind spending my Sunday knitting with Ryan Gosling, and I'm sure he would love it too! No I'm serious, he recently revealed his perfect day activity is knitting.
“I did this scene in ‘Lars and the Real Girl’ where I was in a room full of old ladies who were knitting, and it was an all-day scene, so they showed me how. It was one of the most relaxing days of my life,”
Did you also know he saved a lady from getting hit by a car? Yes I know, as if it couldn't get even better. I think, like every other woman in the world, I will always have a soft spot for him.
I hope this post regained your faith in men a little bit. It did for me. Talking about that.. I wish the every day news would include more items about all the good things happening in the world. Wouldn't that be great? Just some of those small good deeds or tiny miracles that make you all warm and fuzzy inside. Lets make it happen.

  1. I remember watching Lars and the Real Girl ages ago, back in 2007 in the theatre with my parents when everything was... somehow more simple; I liked the film, I loved it, as it was not the typical film. Faith in men is always around, I know many who really are nice people and really make a difference, but many boys would just use you, not saying sexually but just in dissapointing ways and then forget about how much you helped them with their prob. Therefore this is not only about boys, both genders are the same, the individual makes the difference. The worst thing is not knowing how people really are until you do and afterwards feeling you cannot trust people so much as you can get hurt easily. As I said, there is always someone who is good and stands by your side :3
Good news should be more important, I agree, If news reports did so, they would be less depresing to watch ^^'

  2. @Alexandra yes it's a great movie! And I didn't want to give the impression I had lost my faith in men, or people in general. You are definitely right about genders being the same and individuals making the difference. I guess I was just more surprised about a ('famous') guy openly talking about his love for knitting n.n of course gender equality doesn't mean that all men should suddenly get into knitting or crafts, but I do hope that some day we'll be able to break through all those stereotypes and it won't be that remarkable anymore that a man enjoys knitting!

  3. Oh I wish! We just need to give it time as men lately tend to enjoy things that in the past were just for girls! ^^
