'...and cheerfully together we can tidy up the place!'

In my last post I was talking about organizing right? Well, I went CRAZY today. I fillled a grand total of 3 huge garbage bags with useless clutter. I got a bunch of new boxes and the like and oh man, it was SO much more work than I had anticipated. I had the most fun going through all the 'craft supplies' I've been hoarding over the years and felt like sharing some pretty pictures of it with you guys. I have a weakness for pictures of collections and/or neatly organized items. (like so many others I believe)

Finally found a neat way to organize my deco/washi tape! I think I enjoy looking at these more than actually using them.
Sparkles and shells! A mermaid's dream.
And another box of deco goodness!
You can never have too much glitter. NEVER.
Look how organized I am! Tis crazy I tell you!
It was a lot of work, but soooo worth it. I'm so happy that almost everything has its own place now and I don't have to go through a pile of stuff before finding (or actually.. not finding) that one thing I was looking for.

Omoi Zakka Shop

While browsing online shops for pretty stationary I stumbled across this shop that was simply too amazing not to share: Omoi Zakka Shop
"We stock thoughtful items for everyday life. Taking cues from our experiences in Japan, we are drawn to quality goods that refresh and delight, be it by texture, design, or function. We feel that the best objects are the ones that make you happy to use them."
They have a wide range of products (for the home, stationery, apparel..) that is all equally beautiful, cute and delicious eye candy! Below are some of my favorites, though I have to admit I basically just love everything.
MT Tape Wide Duo: Party Dot & Border Stripe - Shinzi Katoh Animal Head Tea for Two Sets
Midori Puzzle Point Marker Sticky Notes - Mark's Garden Notebooks
Gift Kittens Tote by Rootote - MT Tape 10m Wataboushi Yellow & Drop Lavender
Cafe Time Incense - Cats Don't Care Letter Set
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
It's sunny and breezy here so I'm off again reading magazines under the parasol.

Thursday smells of banana chips!

***
I love having 'in between' days off! Because that (usually) means for me I get to stay in my cosy home and yet I'm still productive because I know I still have one or two more days of school! I started the day off by making some banana chips (which I don't do often as it takes soooo long..)
To me this looks very tasty.
Then I DID have to go out because I still had to get my niece a present for her birthday (shopping for my little nieces is one of my favorite activities!) I got her a super cute french coloring book, because we usually color together whenever I get to see her. Oh how I'd love to color this one with her c:
I also got her some cute little stickers. Look at that sleepy guinea pig with the berret!
Before I went out I promised I wouldn't buy anything for myself, but I just couldn't resist these cute washi tapes and those nail polishes (they're called Cotton Candy and Lavender Cupcake <3)

Yesterday I took myself out to the movies to see The Hunger Games! I thought it was pretty good, though they did change up some things I didn't think was necessary and rushed through some of my favorite parts. It still was pretty much like I pictured everything in my head though! It did made me realize I would fit right in with the people from the Capitol. I wouldn't mind going for a (slightly less over the top) Effie Trinket style sometime though!
Have a great Thursday!

Friday Loves.

***
Some things to love this Friday..
Washi Tape heaven! I nearly died when I saw these pictures of a special mt Store event in Osaka on the Omiyage Blog.

The new Blogilates Fitness Fashion collection! Ever since I started doing pilates I'm in desperate need of some pretty work out clothes. I love this Mint off the shoulder top, but this top and these booty shorts are to die for too!

This awesome nail sticker tutorial from The Beauty Department! I tried it out yesterday and it looks so cute! It also kind of reminds me of washi tape for some reason...

I am beyond excited about the Twenty10 Hello Kitty spring collection (coming out somewhere next week!)

The book Yumi by Annelore Parot. My mum got a postcard in the mail of it and I looked it up straight away to see what it was from! I want to get my hands on it (and all her other books!) as soon as possible <3

Pandan & Kitsune

***
Remember the moodboard I posted a few weeks ago? Well that didn't work out. I never felt like working on it and got frustrated with the characters. But then I had my evaluation for the class and it was a true eye-opener! My teacher told me how he liked an other design in my sketchbook I had already almost forgotten about and I was instantly inspired to start all over! I seriously felt like running home just so I could get started.

My neck hurts like crazy but it's all worth it. I'm so excited about my brand new idea for this assignment!
Characters designs. Meet Pandan & Kitsune!

Moodboard with inspirational pictures and pretty colors.

Can you tell I'm currenlty obsessed with digital washi tape and cute random patterns? Now it's time to sketch out all the pages!
