Under the sea... ♥

ep into the ocean at Ripley's Aquarium (didn't I just come up with the perfect transition, mmmhmmm). Apparently it's one of the biggest in North America, and they definitely did not disappoint! I simply couldnt stop taking pictures :)
This is an octopus. It just kept chilling against the glass like that.
The tropical fish tank was so pretty! Rainbow colors everywhere!
This fish was so weird.. YES that weed like thing is a fish. I still think it's a Pokemon though.
They also had this crazy wall/tank filled with jellyfish that changed color. It was mesmerizing (and hard to take pictures of haha)
They also had various tanks where you could pet horseshoe crabs and sharks!
Does Sarah dare to pet a shark as well???
Yes she does!!
I think my favorite part was the big tunnel you could walk through. I felt like the little mermaid n.n
These guys were just chillin on top of the tank the whole time.. Everyone thought they were dead. Or fake.
Fishies getting fed! Look how big they are
All we missed was a big sea turtle! So we went back through the tunnel to look for one and finally I spotted one right at the beginning, stuck under a piece of coral. Poor guy.. Sea turtle butt!!
I think that afterwards we went to get dinner (including some amazing peanut butter dessert. omg.) And then went to see the 2nd Hobbit movie, after which we got locked inside the theater and had to escape through the roof exit. Adventures!
Definitely one of the best weekends of my life, with the best boyfriend in the world. Okay I'll stop now before I get all sappy.

Canada Adventures part 2

Part 2 of my Canada adventures! These pictures are from the surprise weekend we had in downtown Toronto. It was sooooo cold that first day. Once we got there after a taxi and subway ride we ran straight into the first Tim Horton's just so we wouldn't freeze to death. Those sandwiches though.. not a good idea. They might look good, but made us feel pretty sick..
After that it was time for check in at the Hilton! Complete with festive massive christmas tree!

We did a lot of vinyl hunting... Record stores always remind me of High Fidelity, obviously.
Cold night walks through Toronto with pretty lights ^^
 QUIKSILVER!!
Plenty of polaroid film is necessary in my life.
View from the room! So pretty! Unfortunately we never got to try out that hot tub :(
One of the highlights of the weekend? Most definitely the Aladdin musical. It kicked Disney on Ice's ass at least 100 times. You couldn't take any pictures during the show, but here's a little sneak peak.. if you ever get the chance to see it, gogogo!
 Mirror selfies...
 And candid shots n.n
More records! Found a precious blue Alkaline Trio record here!
HUNGRY. We were so hungry. We went to Mandarin which is an all you can eat buffet and it was amazing... we could hardly walk afterwards haha.
 Their dessert bar... omg...
Soooo tired.. food coma..

On the final day one of the places we went was the CN Tower! It was kinda snowy and foggy so you couldn't see as far as usual, but it was still very pretty AND a little scary...
It felt so... unnatural to stand on the glass floor. It's so scary. I was certain it was going to break at any time.
 Weird sign is weird.

That day we also went to the Ripley's Aquarium, but that deserves a post for itself :)
