Pinspiration: tea, rainbow hair, food, pink and pin ups

Things that will always inspire me: tea, rainbow hair, food, pink and pin ups. Thank heavens for Pinterest where there's a huge never ending collection of eyecandy. I love browsing through my recent likes and pins for inspiration. And yes, most of them have something to do with the main inspirations I just mentioned! Anyway, here's a little collage of some pictures inspiring me right now...

Sources can be found here and here

The other day I was thinking how cool it would be to be able to change up the frames of your glasses without having to get a new pair. Then I came across the picture above. How awesome are those interchangeable cateye frames?? And see that doilie in the tea cup? It's actually made of sugar. So cute! I also have some serious hair envy thanks to those ladies, and would die to have an amazing pink tea pot and couch like that.

Thankful for bubblegum and 90's music!

Last Sunday I saw a meteorite and I was honestly waiting for the world to explode. But I'm still alive and well! Feeling a bit 'meh' today. I've been feeling sick for a good few days now, but not too sick to stay in bed all day. It might just be hay fever or something (sore throat, irritated eyes..), but whenever I feel like this I like making a big gratitude list :) Despite not feeling 100% amazing, I've had some great days with great people (which is also why my blog has been a little neglected..). The weeks are flying by, something fun is happening every week (Flatliners concert this Thursday!! ) AND summer is still not here.. will it ever come??

Getting a delicious tuna melt with bbq sauce for dinner at Johnny Rockets  Marathoning Game of Thrones  trying the 'secret' banana split blizzard at Dairy Queen (vanilla ice cream with banana split toppings mixed in, yum!)  brunch at Panera Bread  going on a teahunt  dancing on a Friday night until I could hardly stand on my feet anymore  sleeping in the next day and doing absolutely nothing  watching hockey (I'm actually really getting into it! Canada Adventures part 2

Part 2 of my Canada adventures! These pictures are from the surprise weekend we had in downtown Toronto. It was sooooo cold that first day. Once we got there after a taxi and subway ride we ran straight into the first Tim Horton's just so we wouldn't freeze to death. Those sandwiches though.. not a good idea. They might look good, but made us feel pretty sick..
After that it was time for check in at the Hilton! Complete with festive massive christmas tree!

We did a lot of vinyl hunting... Record stores always remind me of High Fidelity, obviously.
Cold night walks through Toronto with pretty lights ^^
 QUIKSILVER!!
Plenty of polaroid film is necessary in my life.
View from the room! So pretty! Unfortunately we never got to try out that hot tub :(
One of the highlights of the weekend? Most definitely the Aladdin musical. It kicked Disney on Ice's ass at least 100 times. You couldn't take any pictures during the show, but here's a little sneak peak.. if you ever get the chance to see it, gogogo!
 Mirror selfies...
 And candid shots n.n
More records! Found a precious blue Alkaline Trio record here!
HUNGRY. We were so hungry. We went to Mandarin which is an all you can eat buffet and it was amazing... we could hardly walk afterwards haha.
 Their dessert bar... omg...
Soooo tired.. food coma..

On the final day one of the places we went was the CN Tower! It was kinda snowy and foggy so you couldn't see as far as usual, but it was still very pretty AND a little scary...
It felt so... unnatural to stand on the glass floor. It's so scary. I was certain it was going to break at any time.
 Weird sign is weird.

That day we also went to the Ripley's Aquarium, but that deserves a post for itself :)

Random update with tea and cats.♥

You guys! It's already December! Can you believe it? Because I can't. So many things going on every day, it's crazy. Today I am the master of procrastination. I should we working on this research thing right now, but instead I blog, eat, shop and spend time with my iPhone. Because ummm... there's a christmas version of the Kitty Kawaii Game and it has to be played. Anyway, here are some pictures I snapped over the past few days :)

I changed up my usual morning green tea with a new one: Clipper Tea Zen Again. The packaging makes me smile every morning, and it tastes amazing

Last Saturday I went to The Flatliners concert! It was in an awesome tiny venue with a lot of people going nuts. They were awesome live and I got a pretty t-shirt n.n
Last Thursday we finally finished the mural I showed you in my last post! I absolutely love how it turned out. We hid some characters in there like Wally/Waldo, Stewie Griffin, Miley Cyrus, Harry Potter, this dude from One Direction, Voldemort and ourselves of course.
Here in the Netherlands, it's Sinterklaas time right now. It's like a dutch christmas. It means baking/eating kruidnoten and presents! Yesterday I celebrated it with some friends by exchanging gifts, eating baked goods, watching movies and eating take-out on the couch.
My presents were the cute erasers and mini cupcake xmas cups below, a bunny iphone cover, red ribbon and some pink touchscreen gloves!
Like I said, today was procrastination day so instead of doing homework I went sweater shopping. Because I obviously need winter gear when I will be in Canada in freakin December. I got this awesome, super warm leopard print sweater at H&M. I also couldn't pass up this adorable cat purse.. MEOW.

Less than 4 weeks until the holidays and until my big trip! I'm sorry I keep bringing it up.. I'm just way too excited :) I hope you are all doing well and are getting into the christmas spirit already n.n

Cute cookies and crazy dots.

I can't believe it's the 2nd of November already. A LOT is going on/different/changing. I'm sure the next two months are going to fly by. Now that Halloween is over I'm already set on Christmas (I've been pinning like crazy on my pink christmas Pinterest board!)

Whenever I'm super stressed out I just take a walk to an Asian supermarket and pick up some cute sweets! They had a whole lot of new ones this time that I simply couldn't resist c: but I only got 4, because I knew beforehand I'd eat everything on the same day..
Nomnom biscuits!! And another one of those cute minnie/minnie tins. The candy in it isn't that great, but the tins are simply adorable.
The filling for these were Melon and Chocolate. I thought the melon one was going to be really weird, but it was surprisingly good and really did taste like melon! The chocolate ones tasted just like Nutella n__n
Other side of the tin c:
Hello Kitty YanYan! This one tasted like Nutella as well. Yumm
With one of the biscuits came this super cute Pooh sticker
I also got a new diary! The picture makes it look super blue, but trust me, it's a really pretty purple!! I absolutely love these notebooks and I think they're now officially my staple diary.
Some randomness in my sketchbook...
I also went to a museum today where I took this crazy picture! It's an installation byYayoi Kusama. I always love her work...

Hope you're having a great weekend! Do you have any fun plans?
