Yesterday was my nephew's very first birthday! I don't think I've ever seen a kid so happy and excited, it was so cute ^^ I painted him a portrait and his mom (my sister) and dad loved it, which makes me happy because I was a little unsure whether or not it looked like him but everyone said it did, so yay! His mom also made some amazingly cute cupcakes of which I just had to take some pictures...

 

Mmmm they were so delicious. The rest of the evening was great. Everyone got a little drunk and giggly and we watched and listened to silly clips from Youtube. I hadn't laughed this much in ages!

My sis also got me some belated birthday presents. She's always able to find such awesome things!

A book full of delicious cookie recipes and beautiful pictures, a thumbprint notecard set with which you can make silly cards with your thumbprint and two adorable tins with loose tea in it that smells (and probably tastes) delicious.

Today just keeps getting better and better! I started off the day with some fresh mint tea and drawing Sanrio characters for inspiration

It deffinitely worked because after that I whipped up a cute design in no time! The line work is done, now it only needs some color! When I took a break from drawing I found this delicious thing in the fridge...

The best ready made iced mocha latte I've ever had <3 Then I continued drawing until suddenly the doorbell rang. It was the postman delivering my first (belated) birthday present!!

It's so beautiful. I wanted art books for my birthday but we could only get the ones I wanted on the internet. At first I was bummed out because that meant I most likely wouldn't get any presents on my birthday but it's actually way more fun when you get one or two every day c: And it's still kind of a surprise which one is gonna be inside the package..

Did I mention by the way that I started a 365 project on my birthday? I'll be taking a picture every day for a year until my next birthday. Well, I'm gonna try, but I'm sure I can do it! Maybe I'll make a Flickr for it or something later on.

Checking out another art school tomorrow. I was VERY excited about the last one I visited so I'm deff. going to try to get accepted there, but I still want to check out the others on my list just in case. Back to my art now.

So pretty <3

A proper picture of my new glasses and my new hair! I added some pink to my hair today as it was a little messy in front with the colors and it started to annoy the hell out of me. Even though I want my hair to grow I really feel like it should be cut into a decent model again.. Ugh. My face is boring me.

Sooooo my birthday was alright.

It's pretty lame so far. We're getting a FREE CAKE for the coupon we still had lying around so that'll probably be one of those gross plastic pies with this jelly like topping over it. I'd rather make one myself but I didn't feel like it and nobody else offered to make one.

But enough complaining. Hey I'm still only 19! No 20s for me yet :D

***I had a dream with zombies and Rainn Wilson in it. It was so freaking scary and I was so happy when I woke up. I remember that at a certain point after running through some bushes I came at a dock and jumped into the water to hide from a vicious pack of zombies. At first you couldn't see they were zombies and they were acting all nice, but then they turned into mad crazy brain eaters. I don't know what Rainn Wilson was doing there lol, and I also don't know if he was still alive or turned into a zombie as well.

On a different note, I know lots of people think astrology is a load of crap. I read my daily horoscope on iGoogle and weekly horoscope in this magazine every time though and I love reading about the characteristics of my sign. This one from msn is pretty fun. I like how they say my colour is turquoise and basically all the other stuff in there that deff. resembles me. Look at my beautiful planet (Uranus)!

I love this for so many reasons. It also inspires me to finish my zombie paintings serie. I can't go out anyway as I've got dye in my hair and walk around with a showercap all day. I'll have to go out sometime this day though to be able to make burrito's, but that's okay.

I want a bunny again. A cuddly little bunny. I used to have one called Snoopy when I was little. She was black with little white spots and she always went camping with us. I'd go for walks with her (and she'd escape occasionly causing the whole campside to run after her). Eventually we moved and she had to live in the basement and died shortly after :c I had two little baby ones a few years later, but once we had to move again my dad secretly brought them someplace else. He didn't even tell me he was going to. They were just gone.

Or a hamster. I used to have hamsters too, they're so much fun! We used to put them in this racing car with a wheel in it and it would race through the entire house. And I had a Tube City like this too

Trust me. It was hell cleaning it all but so much fun. Hamsters are awesome. Mine turned out to be pregnant though and then we suddenly had 10 hamsters. Little did I know hamsters eat their babies(!) so we didn't have those for too long..

Just look at iiiiiiiiit ^.^

Ugh I want this.



***Changed my vf profile! I couldn't be happier. I realised it had way too much information so I simply deleted everything and started fresh. It has titties now.This year I want to try to be more 'mysterious'. I feel like somehow I jump into things way too quick sometimes, not literally like in a pool, but figuratively. I'm maybe a bit too honest for my own good and don't really keep anything left for others to discover. This profile change is a good step, not that I use it that much anymore, but I felt like people didn't know what to say or comment anymore because everything was already answered in the profile. Not saying a lot people actually read it, but still.

Also, I don't know if I already mentioned this before but since the new year started I've been working on my art for at least an hour every single day. I haven't been this productive in AGES.

I'll stop now before I give too much information again and get off of my lazy ass.
