Bebop and Birthdays!

***
THIS EXCITES ME.
First Look of the Day: Thirteen years later, Cowboy Bebop director Shinichirō Watanabe is reuniting with Cowboy Bebop composer Yoko Kanno for a brand new anime about “a naive boy and a scruffy boy [who] share a passion for jazz in a provincial town in the late 1960s.”
Based on Yūki Kodama’s same-named manga series, Sakamichi no Apollon is set to air this April on Fuji TV’s anime programming block,Noitamina.

I am currently back home again to celebrate my birthday and eat cake. The table looks awesome already with a brand new pink tablecloth with white polka dots and lots of candy. Updates will be back soon, but for now it's party time!
I want a birthday corgi...

Or no wait, I'll just start with a corgi candle!

I bet every party gets better with corgis.

That awkward moment when you realize no man will match up to your dream man because your dream man is not actually a human being…he’s an animated character.

But still, any guy who likes Cowboy Bebop or looks even remotely like Spike is boyfriend material to me.

I remember when I went to check out an art school a couple of months ago and some students had their work and inspiration spread out on a table and I noticed this art book of Cowboy Bebop lying around and my mind was like 'omg who is this from I want to marry you!'. But unfortunately I never found out. Forever alone.

I should finally get those iron-on transfer sheets and make some custom Cowboy Bebop totes and shirts.

Sometimes I feel like Tumblr would be a more appropiate place for me with all my ramblings. I might just consider switching. But I don't know. I kinda like Blogspot.

Yesterday I went to see 'The King's Speech' and around the end there was a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and all I could think was 'Ein!! What is Ein doing there!?'
But yeah, the movie itself was pretty good too, Helena Bonham Carter was wonderful once again.

I am very tempted to buy a Cowboy Bebop Art Book. But I probably won't because Paypal is a non-cooperative bitch. I guess that's actually a good thing.

Apparently the customs always got to pick me out for a double check, even when it comes to stuff I order on the internet. After 2 and a half months I finally received my book of 666 photography. Can you believe that? It must've seen the whole world by now, if books could see. Oh and please don't even bother to handle my stuff with care, just make some awesome rips in the cover and make it look like it's a 100 years old. PLEASE. I ordered two Hi Fructose books from another seller and they actually got them send back completely ruined and torn apart while they hadn't even left the country yet. 'Oh hai book! I'ma give you to the dog and throw you in the paper shredder because that's what we do around here.'

The book is awesome though. Such beautiful ladies and gorgeous props, accesories and what not. Now I've officially received all my birthday presents!

I'm feeling like Faye Valentine today. Why do I know so little people who even ever heard of Cowboy Bebop? I know you're out there! Goal in life forever: become a space cowgirl. Maybe I should cosplay her sometime. I should.

First I had this dream that I was living in this house (the same wooden house that always pops up in my dreams with the narrow spiral staircase, don't ask) with my entire family. Then out of nowhere John Krasinski suddenly came around and he said he got lost so he wanted to stay with us for a couple of days. Hell yeah. He kind of fancied my sister (I don't blame him!) but we got really good friends and that was actually even more awesome.

Then I had another dream which I've had a couple of times before. It takes place in this houde castle/mansion and it's all dark and I've got to make my escape with a couple of other people, like a quest thingy. We keep wanting to go up the staircase but there's this huge black guy who doesn't let us through and just keeps talking about his past life in Brooklyn (Say what!?). Then we decide to take the stairs all the way down and it gets really dark and scary. The rest I either don't remember or I simply woke up.

Why do spiral staircases keep popping up in my dreams?
To see spiral or winding stairs, signify growth and/or rebirth. A spiral staircase symbolizes a vicious circle. It is often accompanied by feelings of anxiety and fear and indicates that we are spending our energy on something that does not deserve our effort.
To dream that you are walking up a flight of stairs, indicate that you are achieving a higher level of understanding. You are making progress into your spiritual, emotional or material journey. The dream is also analogous to material and thoughts that are coming to the surface. To dream that you are walking down a flight of stairs, represents your repressed thoughts. You are regressing back into your unconscious. It also refers to the setbacks that you are experiencing in your life.
Somehow I do like talking about my dreams but I hate it when other people do, and I can imagine you hating me for telling you this. Colour me not interested.

Ohmy. I absolutely love this tattoo!

Today I was sitting in the train thinking about tattoo ideas and then I thought about getting 'See you space cowboy...' tattooed somewhere. I've always loved that line too though (but it's in a Beatles song too so that might cause confusion). I've had a really amazing and exciting day today but I'm gonna make a post about it all later on!

***Mmhmmm I love Cowboy Bebop <3

Today my mum and I got some really tacky junk for the garden, but unfortunately it has started raining again so we can't start decorating it yet. Also had some quite awesome finds yesterday at our local second hand shop, the vhs of Alice in Wonderland and an Edgar Allen Poe book!

Now I'm sick and will have some chicken soup All I want to do is sleep these days. Shame there are more sick people, it has screwed up my day. It always sucks when you get really excited about something and then it doesn't even happen. Shut me up now.

Soundtrack of the day: anything by Steve Conte, teeeheeee. Check out Call me Call me, The Garden of Everything, No Reply, Words That We Couldn't Say.

There once was a tiger striped cat. This cat died a million deaths, revived and lived a million lives, and he was owned by various people who he didn’t really care for. The cat wasn’t afraid to die. Then one day the cat became a stray cat, which meant he was free. He met a white female cat, and the two of them spent their days together happily. Well, years passed, and the white cat grew weak and died of old age. The tiger striped cat cried a million times, and then he died too. Except this time, he didn’t come back to life.

The complete collection of the Cowboy Bebop series should become available for region 2 already. For now I'm going to start over with watching it.Oh and can I point you out to the best room EVER?Once I'm done with school I want to try and make something just like that on my wall, in purple. I mean, it's INCREDIBLE.

Ich mag die Deutsche Sprache nicht. Es ist langweiligggggg.
