Current loves: lots of ♥♥!

Hi everyone! How has your Valentine's day been? Mine was everything I could've asked for :) I never got to spend it with someone special before, so I wanted to go 'all out' for once! It involved making a cake and valentine's day cards in secret, getting beautiful pink & purple flowers with starbursts and chocolate + deep dish pizza, chicken & watching the first Harry Potter movie. Omnomnom!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Thank you to everyone who signed up for my Valentine's Day card project! I hope all the cards arrived on time... Anyway, here is a little art project I thought would be appropiate to share on Valentine's Day!

I recently took a class focusing on electronics mixed with light, motion, sound etc. It was pretty interesting and challenging! I decided to make take 'Princess and the Frog' as my concept, except I changed the frog to a fish, because of reasons. The idea is that you move and princess and the fish together so the heart is whole and they kiss. Then, when you press the heart, the prince will light up! ♥

Omg it's like magic!

Heart shaped anything paradise!

Valentine's Day is coming up which means heart shaped everything, everywhere! And I love everything heart shaped. On my clothing, accessories, toilet paper or on my blog? Yes please! I also have a great fascination for heart shaped cut-outs in clothing, and am forever daydreaming about owning a heart cut-out dress someday...

There are tons of heart cut-out whatever tutorials online, so I might want to get on that someday soon! Would be perfect for summer! Adele is my Valentine

***I ditched my boyfriends Ben and Jerry for Adele this year.

I've been listening to nothing but this amazing lady for the past few days. She just won SIX grammy awards, how amazing is that? And oh she looked so stunning that evening!

For today I picked out a bittersweet song of her's which speaks to me so much it's almost scary. In the most beautiful way.

I hope you all have a lovely Valentine's Day (and that my cards arrived on time!). Due to having a little break from school I haven't had too much to blog about artwise, but I'll be back with that sometime very soon.

I'm currently working on an illustration for an assignment about internet making us stupid, in Illustrator! I'm starting to get pretty proud of it, but I'll probably end up feeling crushed again when my teacher doesn't like it and I'll be lost as to what I'm supposed to do next.. Let's just hope he likes it, ok?

I don't have many more art updates. Right now I'm starting to work on my very own website, I'm counting how many people there are with matching coat/scarf/bag combinations and I'm trying out working with wood at a very basic 'cutting pieces into smaller pieces' level. Maybe I'll be able to make a wooden spoon some day soon.

Happy Valentine's Day!

I'm not going to moan about it being a holiday invented by greeting card companies. If you don't want to buy anything Valentine related, then don't. Just don't deny you secretly hope to get a card, present or whatever too today. c: I got one card from Biscuit and that's it. But I'm ok with that. I guess. The only time I had a Valentine was when I was about 8 years old and I got this card from a boy who wrote 'Sarah is sweet' all over it. Dawwwwwww. I hope everyone has received my card by now too btw!

For the occasion I baked some Whole Wheat Chocolate Brown Sugar Sugar Cookies. They're so jummy, tiny and crispy and I love their brown color together with my pink sugar! I also gave a couple of them to my mom, sister and brother, just to spread the looooove. Yay for our new mini oven <3
