Hello cutiepies!

Since I sent some postcards via Postcrossing again, I've found at least one postcard in the mail every day lately! It's so much fun! The one I got today took the cake though (literally!). It came from Taiwan so that wasn't much of a surprise n.n (all my favorite Postcrossing cards came from Taiwan..)

And talking about mail. Cassey from Blogilates posted a picture on her Instagram of all the mail she got in her P.O. Box and I'm so excited to see the postcard I sent in the pile (and the Valentine's Card of which you can only see the stamp)

Besides sending lots of mail, I've just been working on school and compulsively listening to the Moonrise Kingdom soundtrack. This inspired me to make a little Khaki Scout Badge when I had to take a break from homework

Mini horse in a pumpkin spotted at an exhibition I went to. 

This horse belongs to the Japanese mythological God Chokaro, one of the Senin-immortals who lived as hermits in the mountains. He has a magic pumpkin which produces a horse when Chokaro blows in to it, which he uses for transport. Don't you just love japanese mythology?

If only my life could solely consist of writing/sending mail, cooking and eating food, drinking Taro Bubble Tea and photographing all day every day. I'm like a... compulsive documenter. Always have been. I think a project I'll be working on this spring/summer is sorting out all my photographs I've taken over the past 2 years and put them together in a nice little (or well... probably not so little) album!

Melon/chicken salad this is so delicious! I think I'm gonna post the recipe on here soon ♥ Postcard from Japan Postcrossing postcards from Japan are always my favorite! Arent those stamps the cutest? ♥ My new black bow got this at Claire's. I realized I needed more big bows in my life (and my hair) ♥ Matcha Latte's OMG this has to be my newest obsession! I had one with soy milk at Bagels and Beans the other day and as soon as I had my first sip I was in love! Still on the hunt for matcha powder.. ♥ My new Hunger Games Pin I saw this at Claire's too the other day and I couldn't resist.. I felt like such a fan girl but hey, at least I didn't get the Peeta Pillow Throw or the fleece blanket (although I did feel tempted...) ♥ Drawing in my new sketchbook I'm absolutely in love with my new Moleskine sketchbook! The paper is nice and yellowish and it feels so luxurious. I feel like hugging it all day long ♥ Cute present from Alette she got this for me on vacation because it reminded her of me! Isn't that sweet!?

Fresh new lay-out!

It's still a little bit under construction and I'm still changing, adding and removing stuff every now and then, but I was in desperate need for a change (especially those annoying border around my images were annoying the heck out of me). And I have time to do that now because my summer holidays have officially started!! I've truly outdone myself this semester. I couldn't believe it when they said I got an 8 (out of 10) for my final presentation!

We celebrated that evening with a super yummy dinner at one of my fav restaurants (I had this amazing aubergine/hazelnut/feta cheese oven dish) and an amazing dessert I shared with two other ladies who were craving sweetness too. It had three flavors of Ben & Jerry's, chocolate mousse, Turkish delight, this delicious cotton candy like stuff, pineapple, whip cream and oh damn so much more. I should've taken a picture..

Other things making me happy... Oatmeal with egg! (am I the only one who never had an egg in their oatmeal before?) - Katy Perry's Wide Awake and Marina and the Diamonds' Power and Control (or well.. basically all her songs right now) - This card I received from Lee Xin Yu from Malaysia.. it has to be my favorite one EVER.

finally continue watching Samurai Champloo <3 - hikes to the beach - sunshine. just sunshine. - buying nice products for my poor damaged hair - dreaming of getting a cute persian cat - shoes with an ice cream cone as a heel, ummmm yes plz!?

***Today I got the cutest postcard I received so far via Postcrossing from Korea!

It's just the whole feel of this picture and the colors and the style that just really appeals to me. And isn't this one of the greatest stamps ever?

I love mail!

***I found baby blue nailpolish today. My life is complete. Again. No, but I was pretty psyched about it (go figure what an awesome life I have). ANYWAY. Yesterday I suddenly had this feeling I HAD to go see Kung Fu Panda 2. I haven't even seen the first one yet but I went anyway. I went by myself since it was a last minute plan and I have no idea who I could take with me anyway. I was the only one. I had the entire cinema all to myself LIKE A BOSS.
The movie itself was amazing too. I especially loved the Chinese Shadow Puppet kind of style of the cartoons that illustrated the story every time. Even the end credit was so cool!
It reminded me of this Chinese Lamp I had as a kid that my dad got from a Chinese Restaurant that put it with the trash. Like this one... I wish I still had it!

I'm also still on a roll with plush making. This is my Jirachi inspired plush chilling with his newly made little friends.
